Website Advertising

The Homeschooler's Guide magazine is published three times each year: Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer. The Homeschooler's Guide is available to readers in print format as well as online.

Website advertising runs annually from August 1st to June 30th. The deadline to purchase an annual web ad is the 3rd Tuesday in June.

Website advertising can be purchased throughout the year. Cost of a website ad will be prorated if purchased after the annual start date. A minimum charge of $75 is in effect.

*$50 off for advertisers who place a reciprocal link from their website to the Homeschooler's Guide website. Link location should be included with request for discount.

*$100 off for advertisers when they renew their web link ad

Website Listings

Listings on the website under Learning Resources and Schools are paid listings. Listings on the website under Education Support are unpaid. Listings on the website are generally formatted as follows:

Name of Individual or Organization
Website or email address
Complete address
Phone number

Website Buttons

Website buttons can be requested on any page other than the website home page. Buttons can be purchased alone or in addition to a web listing. Website buttons should be sent via email to info@homeschoolersguide.ca in accordance with the following specifications:

• Files should be saved as .gif or .jpg @ 72dpi (100%)
• Maximum width is 175 pixels
• Maximum height is 92 pixels
• URL of target link should be emailed and will be linked at time of placement
  (all advertiser target url's will open in new window)
